Vacation Homes in Indian Rocks Beach

Indian Rocks Beach is a small, quiet beach town on the Gulf coast between Clearwater and St. Pete Beach. It’s a good fit if you want soft sand and sunsets without the crowds and high-rises of its busier neighbors.
Where to stay
Most places to stay are low-rise hotels, vacation rentals and beachside cottages along Gulf Boulevard and the quiet streets nearby. Many are a short walk from one of the town’s public beach access points.
Things to do
Spend the day on the beach, watch the sunset over the Gulf, and drive a few minutes north to Clearwater Beach or south to Madeira Beach and John’s Pass for more restaurants, shops and boat tours.
Best times to visit

Best overall: April, May and late October through November: warm weather and calm water without peak-season crowds.
Best value: Late summer through early fall usually has the lowest rates, though it’s hot and in hurricane season.
Busiest: February through April, when winter visitors and spring breakers fill the Gulf coast.
Weather to know: Expect afternoon thunderstorms in summer and cooler water in winter. Hurricane season runs June through November.

Getting there
St. Pete–Clearwater International (PIE) is about 20 minutes away, and Tampa International (TPA) is about 40 minutes.
