About Ellijay

Ellijay is the Apple Capital of Georgia, a small mountain town in the North Georgia foothills about an hour and a half north of Atlanta. Orchards, wineries and two rivers surround it, and its cabins tend to be quieter and often better value than in nearby Blue Ridge.

Where to stay

East of town along Highway 52 is apple country, close to the orchards, farm stands and wineries.
Near the Cartecay and Coosawattee rivers has cabins by the water, with tubing and fishing in summer.
Toward Blue Ridge puts you between both towns, about 20 minutes from each.
